More than 1 in 2 Tesla buyers will buy a second one

Tesla

Tesla reaches another podium, posting the best loyalty rate in the automotive industry with 67%. The average is 46%.

At the top of the list
Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is the vehicle with the highest loyalty rate. Conversely, the Tesla Model S has the lowest brand loyalty rate. This could be due to the rivals in this category, the Lucid Air, the Mercedes EQS and the Porsche Taycan.

“As impressive as Tesla’s brand loyalty is, the automaker has actually trended a bit higher in recent years, dipping briefly in 2021 likely due to supply constraints. It will be interesting to see how this evolves as more electric vehicles enter the market, but we think the resiliency so far is impressive,” said analysts at Citi via Investing.com, they who conducted the survey.

Numbers to help
Fremont

Tesla’s Texas-based factory, meanwhile, is expected to increase production significantly over the next 18 months. The Fremont, California, plant is being redesigned to keep pace with the larger factories.
